The Squamish Oceanfront Development Corporation

...was created by the District of Squamish, with a mandate to shape the conditions for the development of Squamish’s oceanfront land and water assets. This Corporation is an independent body that represents the direct interests of its only shareholder – the District of Squamish.

We at the Squamish Oceanfront Development Corporation are extremely pleased that the District of Squamish will be managing a master planning process that will provide us with clear direction on which to write a new chapter in the Oceanfront story.

Our objective is to create the conditions necessary to deliver a world class Oceanfront project with triple bottom line benefits for the people of Squamish.

The success of the Squamish Oceanfront Development Corporation to deliver on this objective relies in part on our new Board working together as a team. Even more important however is our ability to work together with our extended team to create a shared vision that will inform the master plan. We look forward to community involvement and participation in public meetings to be scheduled soon.
